Interdisciplinary Approaches to Human Behavior and Technology Integration

Abstract

The increasing integration of advanced digital technologies into education, business, healthcare, governance, and social life has transformed the way individuals think, communicate, collaborate, and make decisions. These developments have encouraged interdisciplinary research that combines insights from behavioral science, psychology, education, computer science, sociology, and management to understand the complex relationship between human behavior and technology integration. Rather than viewing technology as an isolated innovation, contemporary research recognizes that successful technology integration depends largely on human behavioral responses, adaptability, and social interaction. The present study investigates the relationship between interdisciplinary technology integration and human behavioral outcomes in contemporary digital environments using a quantitative cross-sectional research design. Data were collected from 250 respondents through a structured five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The findings reveal that interdisciplinary technology integration significantly enhances behavioral adaptability, collaborative engagement, digital communication, knowledge-sharing practices, and responsible technology use. The study concludes that integrating behavioral science with technological innovation creates more effective, inclusive, and sustainable digital ecosystems. The findings provide valuable implications for educators, organizational leaders, technology designers, researchers, and policymakers seeking to promote responsible human-centered technology integration.
