Overview & Publication Scope

The International Journal of Behavioral Social and Movement Sciences (IJOBSMS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research in Behavioral Sciences, Social Sciences, Physical Education, Sports Sciences, Exercise Sciences, and Human Movement Sciences. The journal provides an international scholarly platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and professionals to disseminate original, methodologically sound, and academically relevant research within its defined scope.

IJOBSMS publishes original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, short communications, and conceptual papers that contribute meaningfully to theoretical development, empirical understanding, professional practice, and scholarly advancement within the journal’s disciplinary scope.

The mission of IJOBSMS is to advance scholarly research and academic communication by publishing rigorous and methodologically sound studies that contribute to understanding human behavior, social processes, physical education, physical activity, sports performance, exercise sciences, and human movement.

The vision of IJOBSMS is to contribute to the advancement of scholarly knowledge by supporting interdisciplinary research, academic collaboration, and evidence-based practice across behavioral, social, sports, exercise, and movement sciences.

Publication Frequency

IJOBSMS is published quarterly (January–March, April–June, July–September, and October–December).

Open Access Policy

IJOBSMS follows an open-access publishing model. All published articles are freely available worldwide without subscription or access restrictions under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Author and reviewer identities remain confidential to support fairness, objectivity, and academic integrity. Decisions are based on originality, rigor, ethical compliance, and scope alignment.

DOI & Indexing

All published articles are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) through Crossref to support persistent identification, discoverability, and citation tracking. The journal uses DOI prefix 10.63665.
