Editorial Process
E-ISSN: 2277-7547

The International Journal of Behavioral Social and Movement Sciences (IJOBSMS) follows a transparent, ethical, and systematic editorial process to ensure the quality, originality, integrity, and scholarly value of published research. The editorial process is designed to provide fair and objective evaluation of all submitted manuscripts while maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing.

Manuscript Submission

Authors are required to submit manuscripts through the journal’s official submission system or designated editorial communication channel. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published previously.
  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.
  • All authors have approved the submission.
  • Relevant ethical declarations and disclosures have been provided.
Initial Editorial Screening

Upon submission, manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment conducted by the Editor-in-Chief or designated editorial staff. The assessment focuses on:

  • Relevance to the aims and scope of the journal.
  • Academic quality and scholarly significance.
  • Compliance with submission guidelines and formatting requirements.
  • Adherence to ethical and publication standards.

Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s requirements may be returned to the authors or rejected before peer review.

Plagiarism Screening

All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer review process. Manuscripts containing plagiarism, duplicate publication, excessive similarity, or other forms of publication misconduct may be rejected.

Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that successfully pass the editorial screening process are assigned to independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area. The journal follows a double-blind peer review model:

Authors remain anonymous to reviewers.
