Editorial Process Overview

The International Journal of Behavioral Social and Movement Sciences (IJOBSMS) follows a transparent, ethical, and systematic editorial process to ensure the quality, originality, integrity, and scholarly value of published research. The editorial process is designed to provide fair and objective evaluation of all submitted manuscripts while maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing.

Manuscript Submission

Authors submit manuscripts via the official system. By submitting, authors confirm that:

The manuscript is original and not published elsewhere.
It is not under consideration by another journal.
All co-authors have approved the submission.
Relevant ethical declarations are provided.
Initial Editorial & Plagiarism Screening

Initial assessments evaluated by Editor-in-Chief or designated staff focus on scope, academic quality, formatting, and ethics.

All submissions are screened via plagiarism detection software. Unsuitable manuscripts or those containing plagiarism/misconduct are returned or rejected before peer review.

Double-Blind Peer Review & Evaluation Metrics

Manuscripts passing initial screening undergo double-blind peer review where authors and reviewers remain anonymous to one another.

Authors revise manuscripts addressing reviewer observations point-by-point. Revised papers may undergo re-evaluation.

The Editor-in-Chief makes the final editorial decision based on reviewer reports, scholarly merit, ethics, and journal standards.

Production & Proofreading

Accepted manuscripts undergo professional copyediting, formatting, proofreading, and production preparation. Authors receive page proofs for final review and approval prior to official publication.
