Digital technologies have become an indispensable part of modern society, transforming the ways individuals communicate, learn, work, socialize, and access information. While these technologies provide numerous opportunities for personal and professional development, excessive and unregulated digital engagement has raised concerns regarding physical health, psychological well-being, social interaction, and overall quality of life. Consequently, digital well-being has emerged as an essential concept emphasizing the balanced, healthy, and responsible use of digital technologies. The present study investigates the relationship between digital well-being practices and overall well-being in technology-driven societies using a quantitative cross-sectional research design. Data were collected from 250 respondents through a structured five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The findings indicate that healthy technology usage, effective screen-time management, online safety practices, mindful digital engagement, and psychological well-being contribute significantly to overall well-being. Individuals demonstrating stronger digital well-being practices also reported higher life satisfaction, improved productivity, reduced digital stress, and better work–life balance. The study concludes that promoting digital well-being through awareness, education, and responsible technology usage can enhance individual well-being while supporting healthier participation in digital society. The findings provide practical implications for educators, policymakers, organizations, technology developers, and individuals seeking to establish sustainable digital lifestyles.
