Rapid technological change has significantly transformed the educational, professional, and social experiences of young adults, creating an increasing demand for adaptive behavioral competencies. Continuous advancements in artificial intelligence, automation, digital communication technologies, cloud computing, and intelligent information systems have altered traditional patterns of learning, employment, decision-making, and interpersonal interaction. As young adults encounter increasingly dynamic digital environments, their ability to adapt behaviorally has become a critical determinant of academic success, employability, and lifelong learning. Behavioral adaptation extends beyond technology acceptance by encompassing adaptability, resilience, digital confidence, problem-solving ability, and continuous learning orientation that enable individuals to respond effectively to technological disruption. The present study investigates the influence of rapid technological change on behavioral adaptation among young adults using a quantitative cross-sectional research design. Data were collected from 250 respondents through a structured five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The findings indicate that rapid technological change significantly enhances adaptive behavior, resilience, technology acceptance, digital confidence, and lifelong learning behavior. The study concludes that behavioral adaptation represents an essential human capability for sustainable participation in technology-driven societies. The findings provide valuable implications for educational institutions, employers, policymakers, and technology developers seeking to strengthen future-ready behavioral competencies among young adults.
