Health-conscious living has become an essential component of preventive healthcare, particularly among young adults who are establishing lifelong behavioral patterns that influence future health outcomes. Rapid urbanization, technological advancement, changing dietary habits, sedentary lifestyles, academic and occupational pressures, inadequate physical activity, poor sleep quality, and increasing psychological stress have significantly affected the health behaviors of young adults worldwide. Consequently, promoting health-conscious living practices has emerged as a public health priority for reducing the burden of lifestyle-related diseases and improving long-term well-being. The present study examines the adoption of health-conscious living practices among young adults by evaluating major lifestyle behaviors, including balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, adequate sleep, stress management, preventive healthcare, and positive social relationships. The study also explores the factors influencing healthy lifestyle adoption and identifies evidence-based strategies for promoting sustainable health behaviors. A descriptive analytical research design was adopted through a comprehensive review and synthesis of contemporary peer-reviewed literature, public health reports, and evidence-based studies. The findings indicate that young adults who consistently engage in healthy lifestyle practices demonstrate better physical health, psychological well-being, emotional resilience, social functioning, and overall quality of life. Balanced nutrition and regular physical activity emerged as the strongest determinants of overall health, while stress management, adequate sleep, and preventive healthcare significantly contributed to mental wellness and disease prevention. Furthermore, educational institutions, healthcare professionals, families, digital health technologies, and community-based interventions play an important role in encouraging sustainable healthy behaviors. The study concludes that strengthening health literacy, preventive healthcare awareness, wellness education, and supportive health environments can substantially improve health-conscious living among young adults and contribute to healthier populations in the future.
