Behavioral health is a fundamental component of public health, as individual behaviors significantly influence the prevention and management of both communicable and non-communicable diseases. Public health interventions, including health education, vaccination campaigns, nutrition awareness, physical activity promotion, tobacco control, sanitation initiatives, and mental health programs, play a crucial role in enhancing population well-being and reducing disease burden. Despite substantial investments in preventive healthcare, disparities in health awareness, healthcare accessibility, and community participation continue to affect the effectiveness of these interventions. This study examined the relationship between public health interventions and behavioral health improvement using a community-based cross-sectional research design. Primary data were collected from 250 respondents through a structured five-point Likert scale questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, percentage analysis, mean score analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that health education, healthcare accessibility, community participation, and preventive healthcare awareness significantly contribute to positive behavioral changes. Participants reported increased adoption of healthy dietary practices, higher levels of physical activity, improved vaccination compliance, better stress management, and greater utilization of preventive healthcare services following engagement in community health programs. Furthermore, regression analysis identified health education and healthcare accessibility as the strongest predictors of behavioral health improvement, highlighting their critical role in promoting sustainable health behaviors. The findings emphasize the need for integrated public health policies that combine educational initiatives, accessible healthcare services, and active community engagement to achieve long-term behavioral change and improve overall population health. The study provides valuable evidence for policymakers, healthcare professionals, and public health practitioners in designing effective, evidence-based preventive healthcare strategies that support sustainable health development and align with global public health priorities.
