The study was carried out on 50 male football players (25 winners and 25 losers) of the age group 16 to 19 years. All the participants were assessed for height, weight, chest circumference, thigh circumference and calf circumference. An independent samples t-test revealed that winners had significantly higher height (p<0.01), lesser weight (p<0.01) and significant difference existed in chest, thigh and calf circumferences. Further investigations are needed on the above studied variables along with fitness and physiological variables to assess relationships among.</p>2023-10-21T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 International Journal of Behavioral Social and Movement Scienceshttps://ijobsms.org/index.php/ijobsms/article/view/431DIFFERENCE AMONG SEPAKTAKRAW, FOOTBALL AND RUGBY PLAYERS WITH REGARDS TO THE VARIABLE SELF-EFFICACY2023-03-15T10:34:52+00:00Heena Kumaribhupidhaliwal86@gmail.comJagtar Singhbhupidhaliwal86@gmail.com<p>The purpose of tis study was to find of the difference among sepaktakraw, football and rugby players with regards to the variable self-efficacy. Fourty seven (N=47) players, was selected as subjects. The age of the subjects was ranged between 17 to 25 years. They were divided into following groups: Sepaktakraw : (N1=12), Football: (N2=20), Rugby: (N3=15). To investigate significant difference among sepaktakraw, football and rugby players with regards to the variable self-efficacy Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was applied. The results of Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) among Sports Players (VIZ. Sepaktakraw, Football and Rugby) with regards to variable, " Self-Efficacy " were found statistically significant (P <em><</em> .05).</p>2023-10-21T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 International Journal of Behavioral Social and Movement Scienceshttps://ijobsms.org/index.php/ijobsms/article/view/427Ergogenic Aids in Relation with Olympic Weightlifting Sport2023-03-15T09:57:29+00:00Parmod Kumar Sethisethiparmod@rediffmail.comVikarm Singhsethiparmod@rediffmail.com<p>The aim of the present study was to examine and analyze the role of ergogenic aid in Olympic weightlifting. The paper focuses to finding out how different kinds of erogogenic aid affect the Olympic weightlifting performance. For the classification and analysis of ergogenic aid the Nutritional, Physiological, Psychological, Pharmacological and Biomechanical aids have been selected for the study. The Olympic Weightlifting sport has two fundamental skill Snatch and Clean and Jerk. This skill requires Nutritional, Physiological, Psychological, Pharmacological and Biomechanical support for optimum performance during the training and Competition. The skills of Olympic Weightlifting require instant energy for the lift of maximum weight with the use of absolute and dynamic strength motion. Nutritional, Psychological and Pharmacological support improve the performance and increase chances for winning the competitions. A review of the literature reveals that Ergogenic aid affects the Olympic weightlifting performance. Therefore, the use of Ergogenic aid Nutritional, Physiological, Psychological, Pharmacological and Biomechanical improve competition and training performance seem to be justified.</p>2023-10-21T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 International Journal of Behavioral Social and Movement Scienceshttps://ijobsms.org/index.php/ijobsms/article/view/421A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF SPEED AMONG BOXERS AND WRESTLERS2023-03-15T07:56:35+00:00Sunil Dhillonsunildhillon99@gmail.comIshwar Maliksunildhillon99@gmail.com<p> In the present study, an attempt has been made to compare speed component among Boxers and Wrestlers.
